Has The Witcher been cancelled?

The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf might have been cancelled, if Polish website Polygamia is to be believed.

The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf is the console take on PC hit The Witcher, with streamlined controls and a new combat system some of the upgrades it was receiving to fit its new console home.

It was being developed by Polish developers CD Projekt, which is what makes it interesting that it's a Polish website reporting that the project has been quietly cancelled. Do they have inside knowledge?

Following these rumours, we got in touch with Atari, who said "We have no information about any change of status of this game." So who do you believe - Atari or Poland?
