Lode Runner fans furious with Microsoft

Price change from 1200 to 800 back to 1200 leaves fans feeling short-changed.
Lode Runner fans are furious after Microsoft flip-flopped on the price.

After initially suggesting that Lode Runner was going to be released for 1200 Microsoft Points, it actually turned up on Marketplace for 800 Microsoft Points. Plenty of people were surprised at the new price and congratulated Microsoft for it, with most saying that they bought it only because it cost 800 Microsoft Points.

Then Microsoft realised the error made and bumped the price back up to 1200 Microsoft Points, before those wanting to buy it had a chance to take advantage of the 800 Microsoft Points pricetag. This has left those who have to pay the extra difference furious. "This was incorrectly priced at 800 points," said Major Nelson on his blog. "That has since been corrected."
