Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits now Smash Hits

Monday 6-Apr-2009 10:20 AM Stealthy name change for the compilation of Guitar Hero's greatest moments.

Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits will now be known as Guitar Hero: Smash Hits.

The game will be a compilation of the best songs from the Guitar Hero series up until this point.

It was due to be called Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits but without explaining why, Activision has gone for Guitar Hero: Smash Hits instead. Maybe it doesn't sound like a rehash with its new title? Maybe they wanted to avoid the GH: GH abbreviation? Whatever the reason, it is now Guitar Hero: Smash Hits.
