Lips mic compatible with Guitar Hero: Metallica, Rock Band 2

The wireless microphone bundled with Lips will work with Guitar Hero: Metallica and later on, Rock Band 2.

The Lips microphone previously didn't work with any rhythm action game besides the one it was bundled with, a real disappointment for those who wanted to use the high quality, wireless mic.

Fortunately, it seems that problem is at an end. The Lips microphone will be compatible with Guitar Hero: Metallica when it is released over here and further down the line, a title update will make it compatible with Rock Band 2. No word on Guitar Hero: World Tour though. We guess that one is being left out for now. However, Microsoft does say "Additional titles that support the "Lips" microphones will available later this year, and only on Xbox 360."
