Left 4 Dead isn't the only Valve game due an update. In a post to the company's Team Fortress 2 blog, level designer Greg Cherlin has mentioned that work is continuing on an Xbox 360 update for the game, along with a fix for server cheating.
The 2007 release (part of the Orange Box pack) has had roughly a million updates on PC already, adding new game modes and all sorts of tweaks and improvements to the game's iconic character classes. None of this has hit 360 yet for technical reasons.
"It's mostly been around fitting it all onto the XBox," says Cherlin. "The original version of TF2 in the Orange Box was very close to the XBox's memory limit, and all the additional TF2 content we've produced has pushed well beyond it. We've found a couple of nifty ways to get back a bunch of that memory, but it's turned out to be a lot of work."

He goes on to say that a code update to fix server cheating will arrive in the meantime. Which is all good, but how many people are still playing TF2? It's an awesome multiplayer game, but was never as popular on 360 as it was on PC. Anybody still got a copy lying around?
