Left 4 Dead gets melee fatigue

Valve will be adding melee fatigue as part of the DLC update due on April 21st.

Left 4 Dead players often complained that melee would deal with almost every scenario, from nearby special infected to oncoming hordes. Some players even said they completed whole levels without having to fire a single shot.

That's being changed though as Valve has added melee fatigue to the PC version and is planning to include it as part of the title update on April 21st, when the free Survival Pack DLC is released.

It should dramatically change the way Left 4 Dead is played, as players will be forced to use their guns in blind panic situations. Are you looking forward to this update?
