Banjo-Tooie coming to Xbox Live Arcade

Rare has confirmed it is working on Banjo-Tooie for Xbox Live Arcade, due for release this April.

Following the port of Banjo Kazooie, Rare will be giving the same treatment to its sequel, promising it will be "note-perfect" and get the usual HD treatment. There's also an extra surprise...

"4J Studios have dredged the Banjo team's collective memory and implemented the original plan for Stop 'n' Swop, for the first time on any platform ever and after many long years of waiting," say Rare. "Without going into too much detail, the Stop 'n' Swop items collected in Banjo-Kazooie will 'magically' appear in Tooie, resulting in... well, you'll just have to find out. What could be cooler than that?"
