The Force Unleashed shatters Xbox Live record

LucasArts has announced that its demo for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed has broken the downloads record for Xbox Live.

The demo was downloaded over a million times in eight days, beating the previous record by one day.

In total, it's been downloaded over 2.3 million times, though this number includes downloads for the PlayStation Network demo. It's an impressive figure but as Xbox 360 userbase grows and broadband coverage increases, expect that record to be broken...
