Sega Sammy has posted its financial report for Q1 2009, showing a loss of $105 million.

The main factor is the continued decline of the pachinko business, which used to patch over Sega Sammy's losses elsewhere. Now that's failing, the company as a whole is feeling the pinch.
There's also a suggestion as to the future direction Sega will take from its strong Iron Man sales, with 1,840,000 copies shipped in Europe and the US.
Sega Sammy predicts it will end the financial year posting $130 million operating profit. Shame they don't mention how, really.
