Play as 'other squad members' in Gears 2

Gears of War 2 producer Cliff Bleszinski might have let slip that you play as characters other than Marcus Fenix during campaign mode.

The slip came during during a video interview with Microsoft's official PR blog. When asked about squad commands, Cliff Bleszinski said they've been axed because they didn't really work in the original Gears. But in an attempt to counterbalance it with positives, he then adds:

"You're basically being Marcus and you're being other squad members throughout the campaign..."

It could just be his unusual way of wording things, as there's already been fuss over another interview when he said "for co-op players" which was misinterpreted as FOUR co-op players. Yet there's not much room for misinterpreting what he says here.
