Achievement patch for Vegas 2 in works

Tuesday 25-Mar-2008 10:54 AM Private First Class achievement will be fixed up but no word on the online issues.

Ubisoft has confirmed that a patch is in the works to fix the wonky Private First Class achievement.

If you unlocked the Private First Class achievement in your previous venture to Vegas, then you won't unlock it again when you carry over your character to Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Ubisoft confirmed on their community forums that a patch is in the works.

Ubisoft also said they would be looking into reported online issues, though they appear to be more of a PlayStation3 issue as of right now. A fix for that doesn't sound like it'll be around the corner though - "the connection issues have not been known for as long and will require more indepth research to establish what the issue is" are the exact words used - so we'll keep you updated on that.
