Sega has announced it will be publishing Beijing 2008 - The Official Video Game of the Olympic Games, presumably in an attempt to win 2008's Most Needlessly Long Title For A Videogame award.

Developed by Eurocom, Beijing 2008 will feature 35 events from the Olympic Games as well as authentic stadiums such as the Beijing National Stadium (apparently known as "the Bird Nest") and the National Aquatics Centre (apparently known as "the Water Cube"). No, we don't know either.
Innovative controls are promised for each event, of course, with the release date presumably timed to coincide with the Olympic Games. It would be a bit of a waste if it wasn't, after all.
