Akuma in Street Fighter IV, new character revealed

Two more characters have been confirmed alongside Ryu and Ken in Street Fighter IV - Akuma and a new fighter known as Crimson Viper.

French magazine Console+ has the Akuma confirmation, which suggests Ryu's nemesis will be playing a major part in the storyline. We're not entirely sure how many people will be playing Street Fighter IV for the storyline but for those of you who will, there you go.

The new character, Crimson Viper, has been revealed in Japanese magazine Famitsu. A female character, she sports a red mohawk, glasses, open white shirt, gloves, tie and long black pants - the last four features in particular make her sound a lot like Vanessa from the King Of Fighters series. Her fighting style will be fire-based.

That makes the confirmed characters thus far Ryu, Ken, Akuma and Crimson Viper with Chun-Li, E.Honda, Zangief and Dhalsim also strongly rumoured to feature.
