Though only confirmed for PC previously, Cyandise has been given the go ahead for other versions too, including an Xbox Live Arcade version. It's a pseudo sequel to Chaos League, which was a game that combined American Football and medieval RPG trickery on PC in 2004.
Likewise, Blood Bowl will feature the same unusual mix of American Football and orcs, with turn-based gameplay allowing for spells, illegal moves and hit points based trickery. It's all done in a tongue-in-cheek manner (well, it has to be really) but those craving something a little faster and switch the turn-based gameplay so it's a little faster paced and a little more... authentic. Except with orcs. And elves. Kind of.
No release date has been announced but we're expecting to see it surface in late 2008. Keep an eye on this one, if it works like Chaos League did, the multiplayer potential is phenomenal.
