It's been a while since the days of players throwing their care package signal on the ground, aiming their gun at the smoke billowing out, then running away slightly confused and leaving someone else to steal the eventual drop.

But are you as good as you could be? Based on our own woefully inept attempts at killing the likes of iitz MLG SNIPEZ online, here are our top tips to improve your game! Maybe. Ahem.

Grenade icon appears. Shuffle around floor trying to find it.

Enemy AC130 appears. Open fire with your akimbo shotguns.

Friendly sniper spotted by window. Stand in front of him to shoot at enemy.

Enemy Harrier spotted. Use Stinger to destroy enemy UAV.

Team mate running to knife enemy. Throw flashbang to help him out.

Losing Domination 180-160. Continue camping.

Friendly UAV active. Call in yours as well.

Throw down tactical insertion. Camp next to it.

Quickly change weapon instead of reloading. Remember you have a Stinger.

Four skulls appear on the HUD. Immediately sprint towards them.

Line up perfect grenade throw. Slam Claymore into the ground instead.

Crouch in doorway. Ignore team-mates trying to jump over you.

About to capture point. Run away to camp somewhere instead.

Spot claymore on ground. Let team-mate go first.

Spot friendly sniper using silencer. Stand next to him and start firing.

Spot enemy defusing bomb. Continue camping.

Enemy counter-UAV active. Call in UAV.

Bunkered up inside building. Call in care package.

Killed while camping. Skip killcam, return to the same spot.

Enemy AC130 spotted. Hide in the grass.
