Mass Effect 2 surprise this week

The Mass Effect 2 Facebook page has promised a surprise for fans this week.

The news came from BioWare's Chris Priestly, who wrote: "Man, so much time tied up today in meetings and 'secret stuff' I didn't get any time with ME2 at all. Still with the coming surprise for next week on the ME2 website, I'm sure fans will forgive me for no update. Did I, Evil Chris Priestly, just drop a hint? Yes. Yes I did."

Speculation on what the wild surprise could be is currently encompassing everything from new character (possible) to announcing a PS3 version (also possible) to a collector's edition (very possible). If we had to bet, we'd say it'll be the latter, but who knows? We'll just have to wait and see.
