The Saboteur goes gold despite Pandemic's demise

Pandemic Studios has announced that The Saboteur has gone gold.

Normally, those announcements wouldn't merit a news story in itself but the situation here is a little unusual because EA has recently closed Pandemic Studios.

"I am very proud to communicate today that The Saboteur has officially gone "GOLD" on all 3 planned platforms," Pandemic announced on its forum. "This has been a very difficult week for Pandemic Studios, but does not change the fact that a team of amazing people worked very hard to make The Saboteur a great game that fans will be able to enjoy this holiday season."

Fingers crossed that Pandemic employees find suitable roles elsewhere in the games industry.
