GC: EA to revive Road Rash?

EA has told CVG that it's looking to revive one of its classic IPs for a modern day makeover.

The news came from Alan Tuscan, Vice President of EA Montreal, who hinted at Road Rash being the IP selected.

"I am certain that some of them will come back. I won't be able to tell you which one," said Tuscan. "Look at Ubisoft and what they did with Prince of Persia - in my memory one of the best exercises in taking a beloved franchise and making something really special out of it.

"So from this example, I'm pretty certain that we'll see within EA as well some franchises that we say hey - we're keen, we're excited, the audience wants it.

"Maybe it's going to be Road Rash that's going to be one. I don't know."

Desert Strike, Jungle Strike, General Chaos, Skitchin', Theme Park, there are plenty for EA to choose from but Road Rash is definitely the stand-out choice. As long as it's not Shaq-Fu...
