New Halo Wars maps leaked by... Halo Wars

Wednesday 13-May-2009 10:24 AM Cryptic clue buried in the main menu gives away news of upcoming maps.

Joystiq has revealed that a Halo Wars crawl has given away news of three further Halo Wars maps.

The crawl at the bottom of the Halo Wars main menu has to be left alone for half-an-hour. The reward for being that patient is the crawl then gives away the name of the following maps:

Barrens (1v1)
Blood River (1v1)
Memorial Basin (2v2)

Where are these maps? What will they be used for? The mystery deepens! We suspect this will be part of an upcoming Halo Wars DLC package but until Microsoft speaks, we'll never know.
