It's one of the greatest racing series of all time.

So how can a new developer on PGR make it even better?
It's a tricky question. Bizarre Creations has taken its expertise and knowledge to Activision, to create Blur. Which leaves Microsoft with Project Gotham Racing in name only, as they look to recreate the success of PGR2 and PGR3 all over again.
What lessons can be learnt from PGR4? Check in below to find out...

More Sightseeing, More Tracks
Part of the pull of PGR has been racing full pelt through some of the most iconic cities in the world. They should give a copy of PGR4 to tourists coming to London for the first time to work out the best racing line round the landmarks.
However there are plenty of cities and famous tracks out there we still want to see make the cut. Monaco, for example - the city could incorporate the famous F1 track, and maybe even venture into the mountains above the tiny principality. Dubai would be a striking contrast to the cityscapes we're used to in PGR. Finally, Rome - Italy's capital has plenty of famous landmarks, including the Coliseum, the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain. Besides, the Ferraris that are so popular in PGR are Italian, so the country could do with some representation.
Four Wheels Good, Two Wheels Bad Cars Vs Bikes was an interesting premise for Bizarre's final stamp on the series it created but ultimately diluted the franchise's focus. Project Gotham Racing is the car lover's dream setup and bikers would be happier with Moto GP or SBK09. Leave the debate of two versus four to the arcade racers.
Keep The Hood Closed Pushing the realism side of PGR would have a two-fold effect. One it would arguably add something new, letting you tinker with every aspect of your chosen dream machine and giving some interesting dynamics for 'tuned-up only' Xbox Live races. But we'd feel it'd give PGR a level of detail that would move the series too far away from its roots. Focus on the dream of being a Ferrari driver rather than being a Ferrari mechanic.

Wolvieware The only thing I can think off now is the online side of things could be tightened up. It took way to long to get into a game, even when it was still really popular online.
Funky phil Remake PGR2 with updated graphics and cars with all the tracks from PGR2-4 in there. It was the best out of the pgr series by miles. I played that game pretty much everyday from day of release PGR4. Great handling, great cars and superb tracks.
Shinesevens Please ditch the rain, ditch the snow, get rid of the bikes and focus on great tracks in familiar cities, rendered in superb detail.
Johnnyp83 Bring in realistic damage, this learns you to drive properly in the game. This would stop all the annoying people who crash into you to avoid braking when your online.
