Ghostbusters becomes timed exclusive... for PS3

Sony has issued a press release stating "Ghostbusters: The Video Game will launch in Europe and PAL regions on June 19th 2009 exclusively for PS3 and PlayStation 2."

Sony will be partnering up with Atari to publish Ghostbusters in Europe and will release the game on PlayStation3 alongside Blu-Ray releases of the original films.

So where does this leave Xbox 360? Inside Xbox's 'SuperKaylo' has stated that Ghostbusters will still be coming to Xbox 360 but will arrive later this year. We'll just have to sit tight for a revised release date following Sony grabbing Ghostbusters as a timed exclusive.
