Fei Long is considered the strongest of the new console characters, according to Japanese players.
His long range moves, quick overheads (towards + MK), lightning speed and fast dash combine to make him a threat at any time from anywhere on the screen.
In addition to that, he has some awesome combos and arguably the best looking Ultra in Street Fighter IV. Learn how to master Fei Long and you'll give any player trouble.
Rekkaken (quarter-circle towards + P up to three times)
Fei Long's Rekka punches are combo staples and can be mixed up in various ways. Combo into two, stop, then move forward and use his Tenshin command throw. If your first two punches are blocked, delay the third so it hits their attempted counterattack. The timing can be fairly particular on the Rekka punches, so practice them to ensure you never miss during a match.
Shienkyaku (back, down, down/back + K)
Fei Long's anti-air move, this flaming kick doesn't have much range on it but it will beat almost everything the opponent tries. Stick to the LK version if in doubt, as it's the safest on block.
Rekkyukyaku (down/back, down, down/towards, towards, up/towards + K)
Mastering this move really is key to unlocking Fei Long's potential. Not only does it hit as an overhead (so it has to be blocked high) but it leaves Fei Long right where he wants to be, next to his opponent. Learn the safe ranges to use this move from and use it to get in close. You can also use this move to get over and around projectiles.
Tenshin (half-circle back + K)
His command throw is dangerous as it gives Fei Long a free combo when it connects, meaning he can not only do more damage than a standard throw but also help push the opponent into a weaker position (ie: into the corner). Work this into your game along with up close Rekka punches to really scare your opponent.
Rekkashinken (quarter-circle towards, quarter-circle towards + P)
A series of punches that basically serves as an extended version of his normal Rekka punches and even fits on the end of most combos.
Rekkashingeki (quarter-circle towards, quarter-circle towards + PPP)
Fei Long's Ultra, as always, can be landed after a Focus Attack crumple but it's also good for hitting moves that the opponent has whiffed. Once you have access to this Ultra, be ready to enter it in at a moment's notice so you can punish even the smallest of mistakes.
