Like some supernatural assassin materialising at the internet's collective elbow, Bethesda has unveiled the first Dishonored DLC release date along with details of the second and third, story-based expansions.
The Dunwall City Trials DLC pack lands on 11th December, costs 400 MP and includes "10 challenge maps that will test and track your combat, stealth and mobility skills". Besides new achievements and leaderboards, you can look forward to "an arena battle against waves of enemy AI, a gravity-defying run of drop assassinations, and a race against the clock".
As noted on the Bethblog, "the second and third add-ons for Dishonored will be coming in 2013 and will each feature story-driven campaigns. Pricing on these two packs will be revealed closer to launch."
The second Dishonored DLC pack focuses on a chap named Daud, leader of a group of supernatural assassins known as 'The Whalers', and is slated for launch in the spring. You can look forward to new weapons, powers and gadgets, plus choices which determine how the story ends. The third pack remains a mystery for the moment.
