Quick question for you, reader. What do you understand by the word "volume"? As in "Noel and Serah Volume"? Because apparently, that's what Final Fantasy XIII-2 is - the "Noel and Serah Volume". Also on the horizon: a "Lightning Volume", a "Snow Volume", a "Sazh Volume", "and more". Intriguing.
We can thank director Motomu Toriyama, producer Yoshinori Kitase, the Ultimania guidebooks and Andriasang for these revelations. The "volumes" appear to be "character specific episodes" but there's no word on whether they're downloadable or separate boxed releases.

Kitase recently told the Square Enix blog that "there are more DLC items coming that we'll reveal when the time is appropriate. We're not just planning boss battles or costumes but also planning episodic DLC items that will hopefully expand on the universe and the gameplay for Final Fantasy XIII-2."
Our Final Fantasy XIII-2 review went with an 8/10. It's out in Europe tomorrow.

Just as long as there's no "Vanille Volume" and we'll all be happy.

Or alternatively, "Volumised Vanille: Extension Edition".

Is that what Matt uses to get that hair?

Back in the day, my hair could've eaten Matt's hair for breakfast, with room left for Log's beard. It was a writhing, Bayonetta-style mass. I used to find things in it and not know where they came from.
