Read OXM inside the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection

Keep your eyes peeled for a special in-game issue

Metal Gear games are well known for their Easter Eggs, but we're rather fond of the one you'll find this year. Hidden away in a few locations throughout the HD collection of Metal Gear Solid 3 are copies of our very own Official Xbox Magazine.

No cover disc, sadly.
You might not recognise this particular cover however, as we whipped it up specially for the game. If you fancy a read, the easiest place to find it is in the West basement area of the Graniny Gorki Lab. If you can't locate the room based on the pictures below, or you're simply too lazy, go right ahead and coo over this video.

Tickled? Of course you are. We're sure you're now planning to buy the game as a matter of life-changing urgency, but on the off-chance you need further convincing, check out our review of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.

The game's out on 3rd February.

    Or is it really an in-game announcement that Metal Gear Solid 1 is coming to Xbox seeing as the mag in game doesn't specify a number? Sadly, not. :cry:

    Will this be a buy online only game?Also does anyone know if you can buy the games separately?I know its a collection but am only interested in picking up mgs3.

    danb95 - it's only available as a retail compilation, unfortunately.

    Bezza89 - no such luck! It's just very generic because I didn't want to get snagged on any approval processes. Very happy it made it in, I've been waiting months to see if did.
