  1. Thought they said they were doing 20 dlcs... they meant bits of content? 12 maps, 6 specops, 2 game modes... That's not too bad, I thought they were going to set some new horrible dlc trend again.

  2. Common guys, We need more guns.. Do what EA do.

  3. Yeah, they're divvying things up into "content drops" now. Map packs are so 2010, apparently.

  4. Any word on pricing strategies - whether they'll lump a load into a 5 content drop bundle at 1200 or 1200 per map?

It's Acti, they'll see if the fans will swallow 1200 per map

  6. I am a little disappointed by this list.

Only 12 maps in total - I hope they are ALL new and not remakes as I can play those on previous COD's

6 Spec Ops - I would have preferred 4 MAXIMUM!!! and more maps instead!!

2 game modes - wtf!!!! Since when does a game mode become a content drop!!!! (unless that means an addition to the SP and not a MP) Its not like we haven't had the additional 'Drop Zone' - why can't they add more and not call it a 'content drop'

No mention of additional weapons, camos, custom sight options even though Robert Bowling said it is possible to do on MachinaRespawn yesterday!!

Only 1 Map next month and that's it - I expected at least 2 every month. I hope they have released this list to get some feedback and readjust it accordingly!!!

LMAO - probably but I understand that they will bundle the first 3 months and release as a bundle (4 maps and other bits)

If you notice there is a pattern to the maps 2, 1 and then 1 so I expect these (with the additional content) will be bundled together

  7. I remember reading about why they'll never do more guns/attachments. It made sense. I think Bowling is trying to appease fans, much akin to Bethesda saying 'never say never' regarding co-op and Bioware saying a downloadable Elcor for co-op was a possibility they can't say no to.

1200 points is comparably good for 4 maps and two other content drops. I don't think it's likely as a result, though I am bitter.

  8. enjoying mw3,but this elitsm sucks, wont be buying new maps.
