Design T-shirts for your Xbox Live Avatar

Feel stifled by the Xbox Live Avatar wardrobe? Rejoice, for you can now take an indirect hand in the creation of new Avatar tat. T-shirt designs from the Threadless range are beginning to appear on Xbox Live Marketplace.

In case you didn't know, all Threadless T-shirts spring from the imaginations of Threadless site users and customers. Designs submitted to the company's site are scored out of five by the community over a seven day period. Once the voting period's up, the best motifs make their way to the official catalogue and, pending Microsoft approval, Xbox Live.

If you're a budding artist and willing to risk the scarring agony of hipster rejection, this could be your big break. We have trouble putting T-shirts on some mornings, let alone designing them, so we'll probably sit this one out.
