a great game, very much deserved of a sequel but sales weren't good enough :'(
also, why the hell has a cheap cash in game (dead rising 2 off the record) got cheap cash in dlc? its ridiculous..

Got Enslaved a while back on rental. Have to admit I really liked it. Also the fact that it was based on the old eighties tv series "Monkey" was a great treat for me and when the main characters in the game were the same as the tv series and on a similar type journey........well it brought great memories back. Definetly a game worth getting especially for those who spent their youth watching Monkey, Tripitaka, Pigsy and Sandy...(sandy is not in the game tho)

Buy enslaved, just buy it. It's the biggest shame in gaming in the last 2 years that more people have not played it, and because of that they will not make a second one. Shame on you all!

You forgot about the gears of war 3 horde dlc for 800msp. Extra characters maps and equipment for horde mode. Was released on the 1st November.

Agree with the comments about Enslaved, this is without a doubt a great game, good gameplay, stunning vivid scenes, I loved it. I admit to not buying it at full price as I waited until I got it online new for £15 about 4 weeks after release !!!
However I would highly recommend Enslaved to any gamer and YES it does deserve a sequel

re my first comment do others purchase 'new' when the price has lowered or go second hand via game etc?
I used to do the latter but have over the last couple of years started to buy games new when the price has lowered a bit (not always as low as £15) rather than buy 2nd hand via Game (for example) as I now know that by choosing to purchase the way I do gets some of that sale revenue back to the developer rather than all going to the retailer.
PS I'm not a tight so and so ( I do buy triple A games that float my boat on day of release) but having spent the last 20 years gaming and now being in my early 30's with a young family Im not blessed with as much cash as I used too have !

I totally understand being a family man in his v.late 30's with commitments too and have also been gaming for years - right back to BBC computer, atari, commodore and sinclair and now have an xbox 360 with kinect, PS3 and a Wii.
I must admit that I do try and buy 'new' games where possible - some games are just worthy of purchasing at full retail price but this is rare and are generally games in a series that I know and already love. Although it is very rare for me to buy games at full retail price, I have in the last couple of months (Gears 3, Batman: Arkham City, Uncharted 3, MW3 - I would have bought more but finances were not helping to facilitate - Forza 4, Skyrim, Assassins Creed: Revelations, Saints Row 3, Halo CE: Anniversary to name a few) Sometimes it is a juggling act and I have to consider whether or not it will benefit the rest of my game playing family too. Games like Skyrim for example are a self indulgence so I will have to wait for that one. I do not always need to have the game on the day of release either so I tend to wait a couple of months for some games too.
Some games are not worth buying second hand as the DLC has already been used. To buy these games and then spend microsoft points to get the full package sometimes costs more than buying the game 'new' but at reduced cost. I managed to get a new copy of dead space 2 for £10
and I see that you can get Deus Ex (new) for about £15 now too.
I always check to see if the 2nd hand game had dlc content with it when sold as new and tend not but these games as frequently. I always prefer to purchase a game on disc rather than downloading it. I like to actually see the box on the shelf with all the other games - It appears like I have actually got something for my money and always makes my gaming collection look more impressive.

I have heard that you can download the maps from this for free on 24th November - Don't think you get the extra characters and equipment or the associated achievements for this - but at least you can play with the others that have. It really annoyed me on CoD: WaW as you got kicked from a lobby if you didn't have the associated map packs. At least in MW and MW2 they disabled the map packs for others if you didn't have them and didn't interrupt game play.

I have picked this up several times but never committed myself to buying it - Next time maybe I will have to.... LOL
