Wondering how CD Projekt's acclaimed The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings runs on an Xbox 360? Wonder no more, for OXM has snagged a shade under 20 minutes of off-screen footage.
Taken during an E3 presentation, the video carries commentary from a CD Projekt producer. There's a fearsome degree of player choice in store. Make notes, BioWare.
CD Projekt is aiming to match the PC version's medium graphics settings on console, according to a Eurogamer report.

Surely EA should be taking note at what quality Bioware could get up to? Seeing as; didn't the witcher first start off Biowares engine and biowares previous games to DA2 had lots of big decisions and quality within their many games?
Let's not forget Mass Effect still has major decisions, repercussions of come of which have yet to be seen... did you keep that human reaper or blow it sky high?
Oh I'm such a bioware fanboy sometimes lol. Though DA2 was disappointing story, choice and map wise.

Yeah, The Witcher took a lot from BioWare. They do seem to have upstaged them lately, though - it's not that BioWare's games have gotten worse, though DA2 was a bit of a mixed effort, as that they've moved away from their roots.

Not sure if it's cultural or economic but the Eastern European developers as a whole seem much more willing to take an established idea and run with it, for good or ill, and risk alienating a possible market in order to establish a niche or new IP.
As you guys said Bioware are busy moving towards a more main stream market (falling sales figures surely must tip them off sooner or later this strategy isn't working regardless of review scores) whilst these guys decide to make the Witcher a LESS accessable and denser RPG with each version to universal acclaim. Similarly can you imagine Acti coming up with a shooter like Metro 2033? For all it's faults it had more personality in the opening cut scene then most FPS have in the whole game.
Been looking forward to trying Witcher since the first one was released on PC.
